Beaverfalls Waterworks District offers a variety of convenient payment options for our customers. Simply choose the option that best suits your needs.
You must include correct identification information with your payment.
Title owner name and 9 digit PID # are required to ensure your payment is applied to the correct account.
Payment By Mail (While the Postal strike is on we are only able to receive payments via bank or e-transfer)
When paying by check or money order through the mail, please send all payments with your remittance portion of the bill. To avoid late fees, please mail your payment at least five-seven business days before the due date specified on your bill.
DO NOT remit Cash when paying by mail.
Payment Through Kootenay Savings Credit Union
Members of the Kootenay Savings Credit Union may pay their bill in person, online, or by phone.
You must have your PID Number located on your invoice.
If someone other than the titled owner is making the payment, please email us to let us know on who's behalf the payment is being made.
Payment by E-Transfer
We also accept payment by E-transfer. Send to [email protected].
You must include the Title owner's name and 9 digit PID # in the message to ensure the payment is applied to the correct account.
Billing Dates
Tolls are billed out Feb 28 of each year and due on April 1, for each water connection in the District.
Taxes are billed out Oct 15 of each year and due on Dec 1, for each parcel of land in the District.
Beginning in 2025, The District will be moving to a once yearly combined invoicing in an attempt to save administration fees and to provide more time for ratepayers on a fixed income.
Payments received after the due date are subject to a 10% penalty on Tolls and 20% penalty on Taxes (plus interest on overdue taxes applied quarterly)
Overdue accounts will be dealt with in accordance with Improvement District Bylaws.
